The midterm project for ARTC 1302 Digital Imaging I was to create a 1600x1600 square image utilizing the various techniques that were learned to date. I created a Facebook advertising image for a book. This image required me to remove parts of the background of the girl and the exploding disco ball utilizing layer masks. The various text effects include gradient overlay and bevel & emboss. The image of the dragon is two separate layers of the same dragon. parts of the top layer of the dragon were deleted to show it wrapping around the title of the book.
