Redesign an existing book cover.
Assignment Description:
Using Photoshop, redesign the cover of a book of your choice. The book must be a published book by a real author. If you have not yet read the book you will need to read at least 3 chapters in order to be successful. Your cover will be graded based on creativity, layout, and design.

1" Spine
2" inside flaps

What imagery will reflect the story most?
What will make this book stand out above the rest?
What typography compliments my design the most?
I decided to redesign a book cover that I originally completed. I followed the author's specifications for the original design and was never happy with the final product. This assignment was my opportunity to design the cover with no limitations. The original cover is the first image below and my redesign is the second image.
