I am proud to have been part of the team that designed, developed, and launched the “Best Practices for Teaching Online” competency-based faculty professional development program. It is collaboratively developed, featuring online students and faculty at multiple institutions across the United States, and officially recognized by the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development! To date, over 1800 faculty from 194 institutions, across 42 states and 6 countries have participated in the program. Now, more than ever, being prepared to teach online has become mission critical to every higher education institution.
BPTO has been recognized as Innovation of the Year from Mountain View, recipient of an Excellence Award from NISOD, and received the Award for Outstanding Commitment to Excellence and Innovation in Distance Learning from TxDLA.
This project included course design, course mapping, curriculum development, creating a badging system, and various graphic design tasks. The logo was developed using Photoshop. The promotional items were designed using Photoshop and Illustrator.
