Delivered at the League for Innovations Conference 2018, this presentation focuses on redesigning the PD experience and that impact it has had at Mountain View College. This session will take a look at an area within higher education that often gets overlooked. Specifically, we’ll be looking at Professional Development through an engagement lens and be sharing what we’ve done at our institution, Mountain View College. Like any Professional Development Office we struggle with participation. We’ve scheduled workshops and no one has shown up. We organize all day events and the reason why people show up is…the food. So, we set out to do things differently. This presentation is about that difference.
